After laprascopy, my daughter did not conceive for a year or so.
Now under doc's advice, started on metformin. does it help in conceiving? How many of you have successfully conceived after
taking this medicine? Any hope, they are very keen on having a child. Any alternate medicine, or health food will help
pl. reply

YES Metiforim/Glugophage does help in conceiving..It helps a person ovulate harder...Unfortunately alot of women quit taking it cause it make your stomach upset (i did)..But I did conceive my first month on that and clomid, not sure which one helped, but I later miscarried...Clomid also helps a person ovulate and produces more mature eggs. Some say green teas can help conceive, and I have heard some say to eat lots of carrots around ovulation..There are also fertility vitamins out there ( I know Solar Ray has some). Best of luck to your daughter..
