This current round of Arab-Israeli conflict did not end the war, which has been ongoing for decades. To understand the cause of all this you have to go back into the history of the Middle East at least 70 years, and earlier. To make statements that this war was started by Hezbollah a month or so ago is the shallowest, most ignorant form of bias that ever existed.

Israel's answer to everything is to bomb it into dust. Their "Iron Wall" mentality is part of the problem, yet they cannot see it. Everything Israel does only fans the flames of hatred higher, and they don't get it. Israel is the cause of all the problems in the Middle East, and has become, with massive US aid, the bully of the region. Hezbollah will be around as long as Israel continues to occupy Arab lands, to hold tens of thousands of kidnapped Palestinians in Israeli dungeons, and to pursue a course of violence, aggression, racism and genocide against the Arab people.

The war is not over. What you saw in recent weeks was just one small battle in that decades-long war, and Hezbollah scored the public relations victory and Israel set itself back deeper into the mire of hatred and animosity that it has created for itself.

There is no winner. And the war was between Israel and Hezbollah, not Lebanon. So That war made the hezbollah more popular in arab world as almost the first and only group that is succesful in the things against Israel.

The war is never over between Isreal and Lebanon. It's just a lul in the action. No-one will ever win, and peace is unattainable. Nobody wins in war.

gone are the times when wars were fought to win....fought for a purpose(of those coutries fighting only)...now it is usually due to issues fueled up by the media, radical parties and ppl who jus wanna million buck or a two in the middle...and this particular didnt end coz one side prevailed over the other....it was a ceasefire tat Koffi Annan made sure happened.
