We went on safari in June 2006 and the temp. was about 31*C during the day and very humid at night. Most accomodation lodges have ceiling fans which helps. We had no rain although it was supposed to be the end of the rainy season, but did have plenty of very hot sun. We were there for a week with Hayes and Jarvis and our safari was spread between Samburu, Treetops, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. Although the wilderbeast migration hadn't started in the Mara we still managed to see all of the big 5 at very close quaters.Be prepared to travel over some very bumpy roads but they are not too uncomfortably. Travelling between parks and reserves can take between 4 and 6 hours. When ever you manage to go it will be awesome ... ENJOY

Well most tourists visit kenya from early august to decmber, because its during this time when one can see the great wilderbeast migration, and the wether is usually good at this time. The only problem with this period is you will find many hotspots crowded with tourists, and the prices are obviously higher than the 'low season'. But all in all kenya is a country i would love to return to, soon!

The best time I would say is between October-January. The weather is really good during that time, though during december it starts getting really hot but its good. i have been there in November and the weather was perfect, saw alot of game and was not hysterically crowded(it is in mid year).
Hope you have a good safari, whenever you plan to go.
