If I force others to do what I think is right, do I not also have the responsibility to help out those who's lives are changed because of my " belief " that I am right?
Can I force a change in others moral ideas and not be responsible for them when my forced oppinion is placed on them?
Where is the responsibility?

Most states have emission control regulations. At the price of gas (not to mention aggravation of traffic) most people car pool or drive only when necessary. Laws are voted on and passed by us.
Personally I have nothing against smokers, but I feel nobody should let their habits effect the health or happiness of others if it can be avoided. I do not want my children or grandchildren forced to breathe second hand smoke, or smell like cigarettes. It is unreasonable to have to stay home to avoid it....that is why we have the compromise of designated smoking areas.

I would LOVE to have an alternative to a gasoline burning engine that does not contaminate the environment, but smoking DOES cause emphysema - there is no doubt about this - it modifies an enzyme in the lungs that triggers it. In fact, in a report issued only two days ago, ANY tobacco is bad for the heart. We do need to get rid of the internal combustion engine, but until an alternative is commonly available we are stuck with them. Smoking is VOLUNTARY - driving to work, delivering food to grocery stores on trucks, isn't.

smoking is a human right just like farting. all humans pollute but if a few can control others then they can feel good about the damage they do. Who decided that a long life is a good thing? some enjoy a shorter life and enjoyment of the shorter life. Is growing old that appealing? Think about it.

i support u fully. we shud not b judgemental, not unless we also do the same or have som solution. we shud practice wat we preach. logical thinking.
but, smoking has a more adverse and comparatively immediate effect as compared to motor pollution. we can quit smoking, but driving is a useful aspect of life and difficult to quit. we can opt environment frndly gadgets in out vehicles.
on the oderhand sMOKING is bad and only BAd for our health with no good effect to any one of us.
