I just love it when straight people get on this web site and start telling us all about being gay and the reasons we are etc etc ad nauseum. What gives them the special knowledge to know more than my 57 years of being gay gives me? I only hope they realize that they are one of the main reasons why gay teenage suicide is at record levels,,and that they are proud of themselves for contributing to it. What possible difference would it make if it were a choice? Nobody is recruiting them to join. Usually people make choices because the alternatifve is worse for them. Please get try to walk a mile in our shoes before you judge us so harshly. And I just love the ones who say they don't hate homosexuality --just the deed. THen let they, themselves lead sexless celibate lives...even their own priests couldn't follow htat one

Plantoneonme...the slur to poot was intentional..this has been a user who has continually insulted gay people..he is fascinated by human feces and his material is quite objectionable..he also is known to change his avatar all the time and start anew each time they take away his right to use this site....My comment to him was sarcastic because of his behaviour...look into some answers for stale_poot stale_poot2 stale_poot3...the list is endless and you'll see what I mean.

First off I was shocked by your comment about another askers question where you stated, " It's good to have an old time regular queer back on the site..welcome back pooty." WTF is up with that?
When you use the work "queer" while being gay is that a normal thing? Is it like blacks calling each other niggger? Yes, I'm straight. Yes, I've been sexually harassed from gay guys. Yes, my hairdresser is gay and we talk about it all the time, No, I don't hate gays but I don't like it when they put their hands on me. I don't like when they make suggestive comments and propositions. Yet throughout my many years (almost as much as yours) I still find it difficult to not have a "problem" with gay men. Maybe it's the many run In's with them over the years. Maybe? Bottom line is, I don't care enough about what other people do as long as it doesn't infringe on my rights. But then again I'm 420 friendly and smoke so in today's society I may be discriminated against even more than you.

Short and sweet! Sadly, you could i'm sure ask the same question again in 10 years time or 20 or.....
It's the same metality that in a bar will ask 'you looking at my bird?' and if you reply no, you get asked ' you saying she's ugly?' - ie petty minded, bigotted and looking for a fight wherever is easiest as the alternative would be to get their own life and stop worrying about everyone elses.

I'm not gay, but I hate it when people say "that's so gay!" UURGH! It just really bugs me. My little brothers say it all the time, oh, that and "you jew" OOOOOHHHHHHHH! WHAT IS WRONG WITH BEING EITHER, AND WHAT MAKES THEM THINK IT IS OKAY TO SAY IT? Man, there's my rant. I have gay friends and i love em as much as my straight friends. I have Jewish friends too, and i love them also. I'm not Jewish either, I like my bible with my Jesus, but I don't go to church anymore, cuz' I was Mormon, until the bishop told my gay friend he would pay for counseling to make him NORMAL???????? Some people are born gay, and that is the way "HE" wanted it, Chris was. What makes the bishop think that it is a "condition" that must be remedied? Who is he to decide?

Well, you were doing fine up till the priest comment (not too keen on blanket statements). To that point, I agree with you. Hatred, meaness and fear won't get us anywhere. The cruel words and actions of a person who leads another person, especially a young person, to commit suicide, IMO, makes that unthinking person responsible for the other's death.

Amen. What they fail to realize is that not all men who love other men do anal sex, and what about lesbians they don't do anal so why are they lumped in there with the men if they supposedly only hate the deed.
