I felt the same today about going to work...but in my job you can't just pull a sickie at short notice as only one staff person is left to do all the work. But if you work in a place where its easy to still keep the flow of work going Take A Sickie!!! Lucky thing!

Depends on your responsibilities. If by not showing up for work will you be putting any of your associates in a bind? If so, tough it out and go in. If on the other hand, it's one of those rare days with no meetings and no pressing deadlines, maybe a day out of the office is what will refresh you and make you more productive tomorrow.

Throw a sickie, stay off, watch neighbours and eat chocolate. I would. If I'd thought of it earlier. Bah humbug!

why not have the rest of the week off, with a bit of luck your position will be filled by someone who will appriciate the task and you will be surplus to requirements. Then you can go find youself a man who will look after and marry you. Tell him you dont want kids, live on convenience foods sit on your **** for the rest of your life. oh yeah you might as well start planning for your funeral.... if you can be bothered.
