There are only 12 people that matter in US decisions. Controllers of media, retail, oil and energy sources, and defence. They will always back each other as the highest profit can be gained. The US-gov see people as materials to consume and by controlling what the consume through media and marketing they can assure the highest profits.
You have to remember that the US has no real money, its all just in concept money floating around the markets and their mint can produce more notes when needed. When the same people create, influence and report the news it will always be corrupt.
Bush is only a PR man, he makes no real decisions just as all US presidents, the real leaders control the country, and they like bush cus he's nuts and they can get away with more.
Presidents like JFK, and Lincon didn't last long as they can hold up their own beliefs, which in turn holds up profits.
Bush is not good enough to hold a third term, but don't believe anyone else is.
Bill Hicks said "the new president is taken into a dark room with the 12 real leaders and is shown a video never before seen of the JFK assassination, the chair asked if he has any questions. The president replied "whats my agenda?""

I am from the U.K. but I think by what media coverage we get from the U.S.A. that I was under the impression that Bush was losing his popularity in America, just as both Bush and Blair are losing their popularity over here.
I can only speak from a British Citizens point of view. I think that there were dark forces at work by getting Bush re-elected. Just because he was portrayed over here as though he already knew the result the last election would be. I don't think you'll see Bush in power much longer, I think that the Americans are getting too wise to him now.
Finally, yes, I do believe that certain people infiltrate the media and get the "Yes" people to interview. Let's face it, it's true what I was told in College, "There is no such thing as an honest politician!" I hope things work out for the best for your people, God Bless.

Under no circumstances should you ever believe a single media source. Get your news from all over the world, and then make up your own mind. Bush's approval ratings right now are at about 30%, which means that about 70% of Americans disagree with the way he is running things. If it looks like most Americans agree with everything the president says on whatever media you see, then it is biased, like the ultra-conservative Fox News.

No. God, no. Bush would make a great caretaker president (see: all of France's PMs post-1940s), but seeing how he handled conflict and adversity around the world makes me think back to a time where Nixon reigned supreme. Quite a few of their boneheaded ideas might "sound good at the time" (which, for some reason, is why we see so many people supporting them on TV), but it won't be for another decade or so (if that) before we realize what rights were stripped.
Bush isn't in charge, though. As much as I hate to say it, the liberal "corporations are running America" line is truer today than claiming to be a Democracy.

Some news agencies in the US support Bush and some do not. They choose interviews that reflect their position.
Luckily Bush can not be re-elected.
US presidents can only serve two four year terms.
I do not like him. He tries to manipulate people with fear and offers only "Bumper Sticker Answers" When questioned.
Besides issues with the economy and civil rights and reasons for going to war.
My state did not vote for him in the last election. (Thanks again Florida)
But do not think that things will immediately improve when he is gone. All the "big money" will still be running the country....

Thankfully, he can't. This is his second term so, by law, that is it for him. The law was put into place after Franklin D. Roosevelt served six terms as president (I think, though I could be mistaken). I, for one, am VERY grateful that that law exists, though I was certain he'd try to change it before he got out. I can't stand the man. Just thinking about him makes my skin crawl and he's one of the very, very few people in the world (the only one I can think of off the top of my head) who I really have a difficult time tolerating and have to work at finding the good in.

It seems that way doesn't it... I'd have to agree whole heartedly and have wondered the exact same thing.
Although I'm sure that the media does portray a certain viewpoint, the fact that Bush was re-elected does back it up.
I think the rest of the world has too much hope placed in Americans hands.

My god, the lass in your avatar is outstanding!!
Only half the Americans do. And if you believe the polls, only about 32% do. Bush isn't nuts, he's just been bought up in a bubble and doesn't have a very good brain. Cheney is nuts. Perl is nuts. Wolfowitz is nuts. Brzinzki is utterly nuts. Bush is just garden variety dull, and has no heart neither.

Hey, he's the President!
It's obvious that he would try and prevent the media from talking all the dirty things he does.
Of course that it exists the "freedom of speech" thing...
damn!...
He has to do it the hard way!!
Find someone who speaks highly of him!!
Are there still such persons?
I believe all the nuts are locked up...

You're too young to understand politics. This observation is based on your question which shows you are clueless.
The fact is that the MSM is 99% left-biased - just the opposite of what you think.
Very few media outlets are pro Republican/ pro Bush.
