I need some help, I am 19 and am finishing up a summer job tomorrow to go back to college. I work in an I.T dept with 5 men, all over 30yrs and I want to buy them something before I leave, either something small each or something big between them but I don't have a clue what to get. I don't want to get chocolates, I'd prefer something that can stay in the office. Does anyone have any ideas? Remember I'm a student so I'm on a bit of a budget x

The girl whos job i replaced left 4 years ago, she chose to buy each person a tea mat - coinsidentally spelling MUG. Think she was trying to tell everyone something.

I know you said something to stay in the office but I can't think of one thing that men would appreciate that can't be eaten. Maybe it's just from being a wife and mommy that makes me think that. All I could think of was cookies. Sorry, but you never go wrong with cookies for men. If you go this route and don't have a good recipe just buy some of the break and bake ones, guys won't know you didn't spend all night baking them. Best wishes

Pens or cupcakes or thank you cards... go to a craft store or the dollar store to keep it at a budget.. you'll find a lot a great things and you wont have to worry about going over your student budget!

you can make a handmade mouse pad for each of them and get i laminated or something. it should not cost too much.
make is a personal one, that has a picture on of what the person likes eg. cars. or this could be small placemats as well. i think they will appreciate it comming from you.

How about a small paperweight or maybe some small ornament - maybe with a joke on them relative to I T or men in general?
Other than that, hire a stripper ... they can all enjoy that in the office! lol

Something that they all could use and would not break budget would be ....
Coffee cups ..you could either do personalized or cute ones then fill them with some yummy goodies or cute little trinkets ... nothing big ..

Is there something there that can give you a clue as to what they are in to? How about a card or something, small, cheap but lasting?

men dont appreciate giftes like us ladies but what i think is pretty cool and they might appreciate is a mug warming coaster which plugs into the usb port on the computer.

Gadgets are great for little prezzies, try one of those ones that electrocute the other player or something like that.

How about a nice coffee mug each? They're not expensive, and they will think of you everytime they have a cup of coffee.
