What is your favourtie type of movie & WHY, wanna see if chicks are really into chick flicks and guys into action etc......... be honest!

You're gonna like this, tho not a lot.... Railway films - travelogues, and anything where I don't have to use much brain power, mainly because there was never much there to start with. (Saves somebody else saying it, doesn't it?)

I prefer more blokey films to be honest - like war, gangster and action films.
I own loads of films, but would never buy a chick flick, because whilst I can watch them for some mind-numbing trash, I prefer classic films and those mentioned above.
I think this is because I grew up surrounded by brothers and so never got the chance to pick films!

I like comedy - my fave movies are the Scary Movie series and the American Pie ones.....
I also like funny chick flicks - like "Meet the Parents" and "Say it isn't so" - but I don't like soppy ones like "Chocolat" or "Out of Africa"...
And yet... I really enjoyed "The Bourne Identity" and "Kill Bill" - which are NO WAY either comedy or chick flicks... I have strange, eclectic taste when it comes to movies and music!
My bf enjoys the comedy ones too, including the "Chick Flick" comedies... He doesn't like anything too serious, that makes him think. Most recently we watched "Da Vinci Code" - I loved it, but he got bored.
I don't think I helped much.... But you did ask!

I love any 30s movie with Robert Donat in it, such as The 39 Steps, The Windslow Boy. He was an amazing actor.

a good murder mystery... physiological thriller, chick flicks are OK if I need a laugh.

well I loved the breakfast club, and the tammy series... but my favorite movie is stir of echoes... because its well thought out and is the only horror story of its kind. you always hear about kidnapping and slaughtering and shooting, but suffocating then building into a house? and a man who finds out it happened after he was hypnotized? thats only in one movie... stir of echoes!

I don't like movies with pure violence in them, other than that I don't mind really.
