i am grateful for my home, family, grandchildren, job, health, and all that god has provided for me, but i still am doomed to be in pain, unhappy,lonely,sad and never good enough to anyone. Am i being selfish and just looking for attention. I just want to wake up in a good mood ready to embrace the day not go back to sleep.

It is time to forget your old feeling of dom and gloom and move on because they are not working for you and never will. so thiknk of something else maybe tell a friend you hardy go out with that you want to change your life style and she or he can help you do that and then exsperiment till something work but do not sit on your but t and mope!

Sounds like depression...you have so many things in life to be thankful for, yet you feel so down. See your doctor, and if necessary get a referral for some counseling. Life is too short and too precious not to enjoy

Think about this. If you keep on doing this. One day you will wake up in your old age and realise that you spent too much time worrying about life when you could have been enjoying it.
