At the end of the street do you turn left or right?
If you let it go and it comes back of its own accord then you know it wants to be with you and is not staying because you have a hold on it.
If you keep hold then maybe you are preventing yourself from finding what you are really looking for.
Nothing is yours. Nothing is forever.
A relationship is two people who at that time want to be together at that present time.
Mutual Love is rare and is something that grows with time. Love at first sight is often Lust at first sight and not lasting.

I don't think this is meant to be like it does sound. Yes, sometimes we have to let things good things and people that we love so much. This is better then hanging on to something forever and keep getting hurt. If we let go of something, then of what we let go of may not come back to us. But something better will come to us, because we did let go and we was smart enough to let it go free instead of keeping something that didn't want to be held.We will surely be blessed for letting go. Now something that wants to be held by us will come back to us, maybe not what you let go, But maybe something better that you understand more. I hope this makes since to you?

Not usually. I believe in fate, but in free will as well. Life seems to have a way of making one's choices "stick". Would we learn as much if they didn't? Real change can come VERY slowly. The real love shown by letting go is a powerful thing though. Only good will come from it.
If it's REALLY meant to be... of course!!!... Nothing's impossible... but don't hold your breath waiting...

In my experience, yes, though it has taken me some time to realise that sometimes things are not meant for me, even though I would like them to be.
For some reason it seems to be a natural law that the more you try to hold on to something, the greater the chance you'll lose it, so it's in a way even better to let go of things.

I bought a helium balloon with a smiley face on it. It cost me £1 so it was definitely mine. By mistake I let it go and had to stand there watching with tears streaming down my face as it floated off into the ether.
It never came back.
I've tried to love again, but now I'm too scared of getting hurt.
