I was just wondering if there were any other parents out there who are choosing to delay there infants first shots for 6 months or more. If so do you have open minded pediatricians?

It's very important to vaccinate your children. These shots are good for them, as it will stop them from getting sick. Think long and hard about that before making a decision. I reccommend speaking with your pediatrician and letting him/her give you all the reasons why children should get their vaccines.

No not getting your children vacinated from the start is dangerous. I had a friend sho did that and her baby contacted measles and now the baby is deaf and handicapped. I vacinated my children right from the start no questions asked. I even keep my shots to date.

hey hun...i hated the idea of gettin' my little girl vaccinated cause i am deathly afraid of needles and i hated the thought of her cryin' when she got em'....i had it done any way cause even though the chances were slim to none that she would contract any thing there was still that chance...no matter how small....love daisy

i don't have kids yet, and i will only get the MMR triple vaccine shot for them if they produce one without mercury (there should be one coming out soon thanks to the autism epidemic.)
