Most tour operators offer hotel accommodation, I'm after self-catering and lots of choice.

look on trip advisor, then google each hotel individually, and email for prices. We do this everytime to get the best hotels at decent prices.

Use the Rough Guide or Lonely Planet. Both are excellent sources of the sort of thing you are looking for.
