As long as it is you or a consenting partner being tortured, it's ok. Your friends really don't need to know anything about it and they surely don't want details. You're lucky you still have friends if you talk about this stuff.

Loving pain on yourself is fine, I suppose - not for everyone, and probably not very constructive... but loving torture is a different matter.
Torture involves enjoying the suffering of others.
Getting kicks from watching someone else's pain can could never be described as being morally right.
(and if the other person has agreed to it, then it could not be classed as torture, so that is not really a valid argument)

pain can be very erotic and stimulating in so many ways, but it has to be consensual, torture I'm not too sure about, though some people do have a very strong pain threshold. I think as long as it is consensual, it should not be a crime.
