You need to drink MORE water for BOTH Itchiness & Edema.

Edema is swelling. YOU are retaining WATER. Elevate your feet more & Drink MORE water.

Itchiness is LACK of hydration. DRINK MORE WATER!

the feet become oedematous due to decreased venous return from the legs as the pregnant uterus presses over the veins draining the lower part of the body.. this is physiological ... so during pregnancy you are advised to sleep on your left side ..so that the uterus doesn't exert pressure over the inferior vena cava...
the oedema is physiological unless you have high blood pressure or proteinuria.. when it is called pathological..
