My case was resolved and my property was never returned. It was in Grovetown. The head investigator seems reluctant to return my stuff. How do I go about retieving my personal property? It started with a drug charge and ended in disorderly conduct. If anyone knows how,let me know.

In some states they can seize personal property (even cars and houses {example a "crack house"} ) because of drugs...but if there was no conviction, it should be returned to you. You may need to seek legal counsel

As far as I know you can't get it back. I've been in court where that a guy was being charged with possession for a bit of dust in his glasses case, he was found not guilty and then he asked the judge for his glasses case bask and the judge said, "No, buy another one." I don't know the value of your property and that may make a difference but it may not also. Best wishes
