While looking at my taxi dispatch computer screen, I see two requests, one being further away than the other, so I take the closer one. I arrive at the address, only to find that they don't need a cab anymore, or have left. At this point I'm closer to the second request, so I go ahead and take it.
In my conversation with the second passenger, I learn that he is a divorced or single father who has been denied access to his children, is a custodial father searching for his kidnapped children, or some other issue faced by men. Since this is an area that I've volunteered my time in for 18 years, I have useful information for these men. In the one case, when the father came from 1000 miles away to pick up his son who had spent the summer with the mother, she called the police and said that he had be threatening her life. He was automatically arrested when he hit town.
Once bailed out, he couldn't afford to stay in a motel. I picked him up at the jail to take him back to his vehicle. Hearing his story, I arranged for a place for him to stay, until he went to court and clear things up. He got his son back and the woman was charged with making a false report and child abuse, for beating the child when he refused to lie for his mother. She now only has supervised visitation, in the town where the father and boy lives.
These type of things happen all the time to me. I would take an order, that I may not have otherwise taken, and it turns out to be someone needing my type of help. Is that fate, I don't know, but it does get weird some times.

I was a hard working coal Miner living hand to mouth working every day of my life.
My wife ran off and left me with two young children to bring up. Because she left, my life changed I met my second wife on a blind date and I'm now a managing consultant earning a shed load with a big house / car / travelled the world and enjoying life. What will be will be / Fate

The way things just fell in to place when i got together with the guy who i married. So many things just happened and it would have been so easy for it to go the other way on many occasions. Sometimes we cant believe how things turned out and we know it was fate.

If you believe in the concept of fate. You cannot avoid it!! it happens to you every day.
The inevitable out come of your actions!
By the way Destiny is a little different. Destiny is a divinely predetermined fate (considered unchangeable)

The Dictionary defines Fate as the will or principle or determining cause by which things in general are believed to come to be as they are or events to happen as they do. it is also the three goddesses who determine the course of human life in classical mythology. I believe that humans have complete control of their lives and that there is no outside force acting upon it.
