ok, so I have the hoop the piercer pierced it with but I don't like it because I think the hoops are ugly. I have a stud but it's the kind that's all twisty inside and it's annoying. Are the straight ones with the ball attached to the end comfortable. Someone told me it hurts to fit through the hole. Are there any other kinds?

the ones with a ball on the end are called nose bones, they are uncomfortable and prone to coming out-especially while sleeping. The best option is the nostril screw which can be adjusted if it's to long (most likely why it's annoying-i dont even feel mine, as it was bent to fit my nose) the nose bones also will stretch the piercing when taking it in or out which can lead to irritation/small tears-could also, unlikely but possible, lead to infections. You could try getting a small labret stud, it'll have a flat back and small ball-can also have gems if you prefer.

get a stud. they are much nicer looking and I would think they would be a hell of alot more comfortable.
