How did you come to it and have you applied it to your life yet?

I learned that I can actually trick myself into doing certain things. If I tell myself that I'll have a great day....guess what?? I'll have a great day. The only problem with this is that eventually, I'll become my own self-robot and I won't be able to function without self-approval. Even the most trivial of task will require me to tell myself to "get it done." Yes, I'm a moron....and yes the doctor is writing up my Prozac prescription as we speak....happy revelations to you!!!!

I came to the realization, after a very vivid dream, that I don't have much longer to live. I've been thinking of the best way or ways to spend the remaining time. I considered world travel, but I don't think I can bring myself to get into an airplane anymore, so it might have to be something else. Perhaps I'll just buy a motor home and explore North America.

I have seen how the polarization of politics is destroying the fabric of society. This is no right answer from one perspective, and when we isolate people into the two categories of left and right we close off all other alternatives.
I have applied this in my life by trying to understand other perspectives more and attempting to find common ground with those I disagree.

I know myself ... finally! I can trust myself totally to know what I want in life!
I know when to be serious and when to relax. I also know when to relax but to look like I'm serious!
