The regular issue 1976-S proof set had a mintage of 4.149,730. The special 3 coin silver set had a mintage of 3,998,621. Now for the clincher, the 1975-S proof sets, has the cent, nickel and dime dated 1975, but the quarter, half dollar and dollar were dated 1976. Mintage was 2,845,450. So there are a lot of proof bicentennial coins out there.
