It is always advisable that you make the booking direct with the airline which you are flying. In the event that you are flying from Lax, you would take Lax/Lhr/Vie to Mauritius. The first leg of the journey would be either with united or with Air NewZealand. So try giving them a call.

air mauritius is usually cheapest especially if you book early,dec is very popular tho
