I remember last year my math teacher told my class that they might eliminate math homework in highschool this coming year. do they do this at any other highschools?

As a college student, trust me get used to homework. Because high school homework is NOTHING compared to college work.

Les_femme said it all. As a college student of going on 4 years. It only gets harder, longer and more work to do outside the classroom.
For one class, I can have an adv of 3 hours of homework or study per night. With 4 to 5 class's, you imagine I don't get all the homework or study done sometimes. I choose which I need to study most on and obtain information. I have been on the President's and Deans Honor's list a few times already. It is extremely hard to get on that and stay on it. I pretty much didn't have much of a life during the week days. Weekends are spent mostly with my horse's and responsibility around the house that needs to be done. I decided to take less units this semester than before to where I can have more time to work, familiy, horses and fiance.
Got to work hard for what you want. Won't be handed to you, ya know.
Never take on more than you can handle when you get older. Don't bite on what you can't chew....or you will choke.

NO WAY I wish they would NOT give SO much homework. They should ONLY give enough so that it can be DONE in CLASS!
