CNN (tv) last night did a documentary featuring the most disastrous places for terrorists to attack eg nuclear plants. On a previous show they showed that al quaeda has a plan to kill ten million Americans. Now I think this is the most stupid thing I have ever seen-showing terrorists the weak spots -almost like drawing them a map.

I agree and I don't understand it. There have been questions on here asking for people to speculate on where terrorists might strike next and people are answering with areas in which they believe we are vulnerable...very very stupid. I can think of many things someone might easily do but I'm not giving anybody ideas. It kind of makes you wonder whose side some people are on.

This question is based on fear.
You are scared that terrorist are taking notes by watching CNN.

this is naive to believe they don't have finaciers and money to do the horrible things they do.

Your logic is don't give them ideas. Your logic then extends even further that no information should be allowed out that may give
anyone any ideas ever.

your not dealing with children your dealing with terrorist.

who by the way have made you sooo afraid.....they have made other posters sooo afraid......

i understand the point your trying to make, i just think its niave to believe they base anything on CNN reports.

CNN did its job to alert the people the government isn't protecting you.
the government won't protect you because it has tricked you into not wanting to pay for it. with taxes.
aparently real securtiy isn't free or cheap.

thank you for your time.

Basically, I think they did that because they wanted to inform US citizens of the very real threat of terrorism in that times.

And, of course, it was to fill up air time. And also that would, as you have shown, make others notice them. And the 10 million's probably just some fable, the media likes to blow things up.

Anyway it shouldn't be very damaging as terrorists don't watch CNN. They regard anything to do with Americans as filthy, poluted and "the Satan's work". I mean that's their entire perception which justifies their actions in their eyes.

Just like when they were saying on TV (Right after 9/11) "The United States is not prepared to handle a Chemical or biological attack." It is like painting a target on our behinds and saying fire away! It is nothing but stupidity. Someone should fire the morons who put it on the air.

This Tv show was made to entertain consumers. It appears to have done so quite well. [ No sarcasm intended.]
