n. a certain amount of allowed freedom.

it all depends on how the word is being used.
with money, its like money that youve gotten from doing things around your house and is used to make children have a sence of maturity and independence. and with other things, it can mean freedom. thats what i think anyways.

nothing - I don't get one! If I need money I just ask for it, but if I want/need a lot of money, I can do chores and stuff for extra money, or just get some out of my bank account.

allowance means to me money i have earn for example:if i get honor i get money and when i get all my chores do at the end of the week i get money.
