Which medicine for postpone the periods, How long it wl take, how many times daily? Is it safe ?

For postponement of periods
*tab PRIMOLUT-N 5mg BD i.e. one tab n morning and one tab in evening
*If nausea or vomiting occurs, along with tab primolut –n take tab PERINORM bd i.e one in morning and one in evening.
*when the requirement to postpone period is over stop the drug and period will follow within a week.
*it is safe
*it is presumed that postponement of period is required for few days only

Actually there are some forms of birth control that do just this. Seasonale and Depo Provera come to mind. Seasonale is birth control pills that are taken for 3 months and Depo Provera is a shot taken every 3 months. Ask your doctor about these.

You can delay or skip a period if you are taking oral contraceptives by leaving out the white pills and comtinuing onto the red ones, then you wont get a period. Only worth doing for an important occasion ie wedding, holiday etc.

do not know the name...
but you can postpone.... but te process to post pone is not a good one..
do not go for it.....
it is not that safe.. the menstrual cycle gets disturbed and it takes so many months to get a normal cycle again..
these medicine are nothing but oral contraceptives.. when you take and stop taking, cycle will start until you take you won't get....
finally before experimenting, consult a gyn.... do not take any self medicine...

oral contraceptives prevent a woman from getting her periods as long as she takes them. this is safe but not advisable to continue for more than 2-3 months however speak to a good doctor for more info on this.
