they certainly tore george takei (sulu) a new one, i didn't know he was gay. he took it well though & what the hell was up with andy dick licking everybody? overall i enjoyed it.

I saw most of the roast (Tivo cut it a bit short). I didn't know George was gay either, but he was very cool about it. Bill was also a good sport (which I guess you'd need to be if you agree to be roasted). I don't know what was up with Andy, but he was over the top with the licking. For myself the question is, how much did Farah have to drink before the show? All in all, I really enjoyed it, but I wished Deforest could have been there. (And I don't think Jimmy Doohan would have done it even if he could have.)

I was trippin' on the sulu thing too. I loved Andy Dick, he is hilarious and yet so homely. The SHAT did hit the fan, though!

Shatner is too uncomplicated a target to commence with. i tried observing it and became it off because it became basically too "blue" for my tastes. Why do comedians those days imagine something is basically humorous if it has *beeped* talk in it?
