How do you see or better what is your perspective on West Balkans and people who live there - or even better- what comes first on your mind when you hear ' The Balkans'?

Balkans were succeeding recovering their wounds from 3 decennia of the destructive Balkan and World wars and were practically flourishing until “Perestroyka” and the end of “Cold War”, what is coming to anybody’s mind since period of 90’s with new Balkan wars (Croatia, Bosnia, Albania, Kossovo, Macedonia, Romania) and greatest economical crisis (decreasing for example few times level of production from 80’s) that is an European part and a Homeland of Europe, basis, grounding, foundation, realization and meaning in those many millennia for European, Christian or Mediterranean civilization, destroyed from the “wise interventions” of colonial shits and garbage (and their similar nowadays colonial subjects) which would never know the name of their own president and stupid insects which wouldn’t be generally passing 1st grade in an East-European school. Speaking of asking what do you think of Balkans now that would be like asking what do you think of Europe during Yalta conference.

Um. Honest answer. Stone age warriors. Undereducated subsistence farmers, siege mentality, dirt poor and fighting over the dirt. Sadly their history has been tragic. The EEC is addressing many of their poverty and health issues, but it will take a long time for the wounds to heal, I think.

i think of people that have cold winters, for some reason, though the balkans reach the black sea, but perhaps it's cold on that bit of the black sea.

people who are aggressive, because they have had to be because of what they have been through. But I have seen it first hand that they treat their women as if it were something they had just tread in. I wouldn;t want to live next door to them.
