Touchy subject, to some, but for me, I think I would give it a rest for now, I don't really have a desire to fly, especially if there is a chance of not living through the experience of flying. Hopefully everything will get better. Have a good day.

Absolutely not - now is the safest time to fly with security at an all-time high!

If you can't even get on a plane without having to test your baby's bottle of milk, I doubt theres any chance a terrorist will get anything through!

I am more nervous about trains - I haven't been on one since the Madrid bombing (I live in Spain) - I think it is much harder to tighten security on a train.

Also, there have been a lot of "not entirely explained" de-railings and accidents on trains here in Spain recently, and I'm a little suspicious. Are there loads of bad train drivers, or is the government hiding something?? They never seem to give full details.

I do not fly that much, but aside from being naked and searched, this is getting close. I just think that they are doing everything they can do to make people safe. But you know, if someone really wants to do harm, they will find a way. Just don't worry about it, and if it is your time, you go. If it isn't, you will be the only one that survived the crash. No really, I would be more irritated from the long lines and such. I think out of all the flights going out, that there are very few crashes anyway, let alone from a Terrorist.

What's apprehensive? What kind of terrorists? Where's Britain?

And I don't mind flying in light, but I'm afraid of flying at night.

And is that "you" as in you're talking to me, or generic "you," as in "You never know what's in store for you"?

No, that is not the reason I hate to fly. I just can't stand the long, drawn out security checkpoints, being in a crowd, and the closeness of the seats on a plane.

No... After 9/11 I refuse to be scared of terrorists. I think that due to hightened security nothing will be getting through... My friend just went on a flight to Maine and she had to be there 4 hours early just to get through security, she wasn't allowed to bring any food or drink onboard like she use to be. She also had to take of her shoes... if they are so strict on little white girls think about those who actually look suspicious.

I am not afraid to fly.
I am afraid of airports.
Security is a joke, the long lines
If it is less than a 10 hour drive I won't fly

No. After the Madrid bombing, I still have to take the train to work.
and the bus sometimes.

If you have to fly to a destination, then you have to. Just pray no asshole with a bomb is on board.

Nope!

I flew over 100000 miles last year, and this year will probably do nearly the same.

Am I scared? Nope.
Am I more cautious? Nope.

When my time comes, it comes.
