ok have tiles in kitchen, due to flood and then recent vandalism in the kitchen when broken into, we have had to take up the broken tiles, as 1) they were cracked 2) always seem to have water under them.. We are trying to let the concrete floor dry out, but in one patch it is always damp. And it smells awful.. Have tried washing , drying the floor airing the kitchen? Any suggestions?

ok own house, the extension (the kitchen) was done ten years ago before we owned it, the vandalisum done about 3 weeks ago, they smashed up the floor tiles, thre the tumble dryer on top of the tiles.. the water was first noticed after my washing machine flooded, that was a couple months ago and it never seemed to dry out. with the vandalisum we started to pick up the tiles and found one spot in the ground is always wet with small puddle. the smell is worse now we have removed tiles..
