I can't say he has ever given me reason to trust him. He insists that there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and that Iraq is an immediate danger to the US. They can't find anything with our sophisticated surveillance equipment, but he still insists. We invade and are now on the ground, still no weapons and yet he still insists. We haven't found any viable evidence of these weapons and the threat, but he still continues without admitting he was wrong (I'll never expect him to come out and admit to a lie.).

His administration arranges to give a large support and reconstruction contract to Haliburton (Dick Cheney's old buddies) without competitive bidding and we're supposed to trust him.

He has successfully and single handedly managed to reverse the gains we had in foreign relations after the World Trade Center disaster so that they are now a distant memory and yet we are to trust him.

He has backed a plan in Medicare to establish the most confusing prescription drug benefit imaginable with the help of cohort Nancy Johnson, leaving millions of older Americans at a loss for what to do and still we are to trust him.

He advances tax refunds to tax payers in time for reelection neglecting to tell them that this may mean they will owe money come April 15th and still asks for our trust.

Somebody please show me a place where he has truly looked out for the people and not just his rich buddies. His continual sleight of hand by keeping the scare tactics up while contracting our civil liberties is obnoxious. And he has seen to the wasting of massive amounts of money, without making our country one bit safer. About the only worse person I could currently imagine as President would be Dick Cheney.

I'm an American and that says that there is not one word that comes out of the mouth of Bush that is believable and I guess if I were from another country this would still mean the exact thing too.
No, I do not, have never nor will I ever believe anything that comes out of Bush's mouth.
NO, I do not, never have nor will I ever trust that idiot and the reason for it is very simple too. He has yet to be honest to America as well as to each and every other country in this war ridden world of ours.
The fool even believes all the lies that come out of his mouth and that alone is totally scary and should not be shrugged off by any one ever.
I always believed that a presidents job was to protect all people in this country and to make sure to keep them safe and to avoid all forms of war and terrorism but I guess Bush slept through that class and now we are all in the deepest form of sh*t possible because congress is not going to help any Americans by impeaching that idiot in order so save the world.
I think we would all be so much better off if Bush were to be impeached now and not to allow the murderer to continue until January of 2009.
I for one would feel a whole lot safer if congress would not only impeach Bush but also take his partner in crime out with him at the same time.
I hope I have answered your question so you now know what I feel about Bush, believing him, trusting him and why or why not?

Before 9-11 happened, and he was still our new president, I heard a radio program to the effect 'what your new president thinks about the issues.' The program went on to take excerpts from various different then-recent speeches about major issues such as education, job growth, enviornment, immigration, etc. I was listening to him & had the distinct impression that he was saying what he was supposed to say, not what he really thought, sounded indecisive, and had a very choppy & halting speaking pattern. I thought, this guy is not telling the truth about any of this, his voice & manner of speaking gave it away.
But when the subject became the military, he took on a whole new speaking pattern, became very fluid, dynamic, forceful, and spoke in complete sentences. I thought, this is the only thing he really believes, he's going to start a war.
And he did.
Several years later, it is beyond me how he still has even a small % of Americans buying into the fantasy that the Iraq War has somehow made us safer.
I guess some people will just believe anything despite any evidence to the contrary if they want to to believe it bad enough.

Oh, so the answer is "no."

I would say about 5% of what he says started out as truth the rest is twisted to support the party's needs not that he is alone in doing this both party's play this game and it will continue as long as there are people who have the mind set that we should trust him BECAUSE HE IS OUR PRESIDENT. Let us not forget that he is human and it is human nature to try and get away with as much as you can that is why we must always ask ?'s.As for trust I trust him as much as I would anyone else who was given the most powerful position on earth and a choice to self serve{money and powerful friends} or help those in need in our nation{the ones that will have nothing to offer after his terms up} . The one thing i cant stand is the fact that this person was ever put into to office when he had no qualifications for the position the man was a poor student he was never successful in any venture and yet is now president it just shows the ignorance of the partisan system.

How many times does it have to be said?

The American Intelligence office is not Mr. Bush's office, it is MY Intelligence office, and it is the Intelligence office of every single American on this forum. Those people work for me. I pay them their wages with my money.

In a round-about way I also tell them what I want them to do. I tell them by talking to my Congressional representative and he talks to the President and the Presidents tells the Intelligence Office what THE PEOPLE want.

When you bash the American President you are also bashing the American People. Instead of saying "the American President is a dumb-dolt" you really should say, "you American people are dumb-dolts" and you will be closer to the truth.

He is OUR man so long as he is in the White House and has the responsibility of being OUR President. We put him there and he is doing what we want him to do, because he works for us.

He makes mistakes. And he also has some winners. Remember he is just a simple human being who is trying his damndest to do it right. He is not a KING and he is not a Premier who has been appointed by GOD. He's there for four years and if you like him he can stay there for another four years.

At the end of his term he becomes a "Quick-Change artist"..one minute he's the President and the next minute he is Mr. Bush, and he can go around blasting whoever he wants.

That's our system, and it works well, not perfect but well, and we like it that way so long as you remember: the President is OUR man, he works for us. When he makes a mistake, it is OUR mistake.

No I do not trust him.He is a conciet man.He is a liar accusing Sadam Husein had a destroyable bombs. He attack Iraq 3 years ago but infact his soldiers did not find it.But do you know how many thousands of Iraqi civil people were killed since 3 years ago up to this day .?Bush is a welknown politician in this world .As a super power man he has no heart. and no love especially for muslims.Politic is dirty.Politician will do everything
without thinking of ethics, rules and .its bad effect in reaching his goals. Our tongues have no bone,so it is easy to say something without facts. If time gone can approve his lie,he will say another reason for his actions..Allah the only one God in our holy Qur'an spoke that slandering is more cruel than killing/murdering.We can kill someone in a minute by shooting, but slandering is killing someone so long time until his death. In islamic teaching,slander-
ing is prohibited..If someone doing that,he will get big sin.
We have an Indonesian proverb that once its falseness has been proved, along his life we can not trust him.

I think that BUSH doing the best job he can with all that is going on in this world. He would be doing better if congress would help!
The news media don't help any when they leak things that other
knot heads leak it from the government that help fight terrorism.
I think a republican will not get elected to the white house in 2008 if things do not change in the cost of everything and the war
don't turn for the better11

I do not beleive a single thing out of his mouth. after all, look @ his poppa. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Im so tired of it. What angers me even more is the stupid NON US citizens that come over here and pretend they know what the hell they r talkin about. They cant even speak english, yet they r voting for a president they dont know anything about. Only because they want their whole country to come live over here!!!

it is hard enough to trust that the president of such a large country is always telling the truth. now when it comes to bush it gets much more difficult because you know that the forces guiding him are either financial (greed) or spiritual (fear). when someone is functioning on these two levels, not only should he not be leading a country, he becomes much more difficult to trust. i take every single thing he says with a grain of salt. a very very very big grain.

I find GWB to be the actual personification of evil. Every time I look at him I keep thinking of the movie the Exorcist when the young priest is being left alone with Reagan and the older priest says something like, remember, the devil is a liar, and the possessed girl takes on the voice of his dead mother to torment. I look at GWB and cannot think of anything else. He has caused so much death and misery, I can't understand anyone backing him.
