I have about 2000 songs on here stored in my itunes folder and am considering buying a new computer but I will not do this until I know I can transfer all the music I have on here to another computer. I know a little about computers but not a great deal so please don;t confuse me with jargon!

Connect both computers with a cross over Ethernet cable and drag your library to the new disc, or use your iPod

1>Well for 2000 songs you can't simply burn a Dual Layer DVD ( ask for it in any tech shop), but for that you must be sure that you have a DVD Writer.

2>Another way is attach your current harddisk to new computer & you can transfer all the files you want.

3>What's the size of your iPod? buy a bigger one! :)

4> Buy a portable harddisk & transfer your music collection on it first & from portable harddisk transfer it on your new PC or any number of other PCs you want.

Get an external hard drive. You connect the hard drive to your old PC, transfer your files to it and then you can unplug it and connect it to your new computer. Then you can transfer the files to your new computer's hard drive or you can keep the files on the external one and just listen to the songs on your new computer.
