The Daily Show with Jon Steward would have been cancelled.
As for the actual issues:
Iraq: I don't think Kerry would have withdrawn the troops, and even if he did, congress and the house wouldn't have let him.
Economy: Kerry most likely would have tried to raise taxes for top earners. If he successed, the deficiet would be lower and/or their would be a larger safety net for those in the lower class. Economists have found that a safety net is vital to the economy as it lessens the impact of stock market crashes and other economic problems.
Immigration: Kerry probally won't have sent thousands of troops to the boarder. Immigration is hard to solve and not much has been done in recent years to stop the flow of illegal immigrants.
To summarize, Kerry's presedency would probally be similar to Bush's 2nd term, but with a few more positive steps, such as a change to tax law. The main reason for the similarity is because Bush is a lame duck. He made big mistakes in his first term, but in his second term he has done very little. Likewise, since the Repulicans control the house and congress, Kerry would have had troubles getting anything done. Finally, Bush's policies are moderate, a sharp contrast to his radical first term policies that got him into a lot of troubles. Bush has been forced to become a moderate because he no longer has the political capital to be aggressive. Kerry is a moderate by nature, though he was radical in his youth.

First, there would not have been a 9/11, because the vendetta Bin Laden had with the Bush clan would not have been played out that way; therefore, there would be no war in Iraq (plus, Bush would not have been able to execute his vendetta against Saddam for the hit put out on "Daddy" Bush; the economy would be much better because the oil prices would not have skyrocketed at such an absurd rate (due to Bush's war- it's not America's really. We're just stuck in the middle of an egomaniac's wet dream) and we wouldn't be using so much of the taxpayers' money to fund the military (it's always more during wartimes). Both houses of congress would be difficult to manipulate, being Republican, but Kerry could have pulled an infamous "I'm the Decider" move and did what needed to be done to get his agenda moving. Immigration? Hard one to call, but during Democratic times, the working class are often more at ease and not as paranoid about where and when the next meal, dollar, or opportunity is coming from. Plus, Democrats are a more people oriented group and we actually care more about people over big business/ all mighty dollar. America is the melting pot, right? Why start saying who can melt with us now, you know?

IF John Kerry had Won and IF, and this is a Big If, if Bush allowed him to take Office (remember the Patriot Act - - - it had clauses that could have prevented this) - - - IF - - - then Madelyn Albright would have been returned to the State Department and the World would be a much better place. The economy would be the same - - - changing prez never has an immediate effect - - - Bush is wrecking the future with debt not the present - - - and the imigration issue, with the focus on a triumphant success in Iraq and the whole Middle East, it wold ave been a non issue. Peace.

Kerry opponents will try to paint a bleak picture, however
i beleive no one could be as corrupt as this admin.
that said i think kerry would do a decent job, he would follow in the footsteps of his hero JFK with whom he shares his intials.
The economic recovery would take a few years but it would happpen....the world would have a leader in america that could be taken seriously.
For one thing Donald Rumsfled would not be in charge of the Iraq rebuilding and troops.
This should be the best and strongest reason anyone could make. For one Iraq is about repairing the botched job not of rebuilding but occupy. If anything kerry would stablize the country with international help or begin to pull out troops. Not cut and run, as most of the Echo Chamber or parrot squad. As Iraq stumble more and more into a civil war for power, and control after tribal loyalities no matter what government we put in place it will replaced by one of the poeple, and if its like an Iran State, we will just take them out and put in our own dictator.
No more Crazy Deficit Spending. It is a shame and dishonor the way the president is running the economy. it is voddooo economics. Every child born in the U.S is born with 50,000 dollar debt because of the debt. This is the sanest and strongest reason anyone can make.
With immgration would be pretty moderate, something to procect unions, something to respect other cultures, and an increase in securing our borders the right way.
after 9/11 most of the recomendations were ignored why, becuase it cost money to really protect our country.
People would rather not pay for it.
i mean republicans don't want anyone rich to have to pay for it.
After reading "Armed Madhouse" by Greg Palast
there is no doubt the election was fixed.
please watch this as well...its long but excellent information.

This is what Kerry would do...
Withdraw Iraq, and Iraqis start their full scale civil war, which would lead Kerry to resign for failing to secure Iraq and democratizing it.
The economy and the immigration issue would stay the same.

Actually I think Kerry won the election but Bush became president because of the votes of the senate. The world would be a much better place.

my blood pressure would be lower
comedians would, likely, make less fun of the president
my oldest friend wouldn't be in iraq
the national debt would, at a guess, be TRILLIONS of dollars lower
ooh. missed that last caveat. let me reply with this: if kerry had won, there wouldn't have been vote fraud, and there'd be fewer republicans in the house and senate (though i may have my years off, here)... even if i do have my years off, the abramoff scandal, to name just one, would've been more of a spring cleaning, i imagine, with kerry in the oval office.
