Most like them at least a little taller because it makes them feel more feminine. It just comes down basic animalistic genetics.
Any one who doesn't think thats true, just ask yourself how many girls you see dating guys 5 feet or less shorted than them. I'm sure the number is very few and far inbetween. Forget what anyone says anyway, words are just that, words. The reality around you pretty much says it all.

most guys are naturally taller than girls so girls have no choice but to go for the taller guy. It might make them feel secure dunno about that. Thing is it dont mean the shorter guy dont stand a chance cos end of the day its all about personality. If your confident and u feel comfortable under ur skin then u can pull any girl no matter how massivly tall she is. Appearance only wins have the battle, iv seen loads of ugly fat mo fos goin out with attrative girls cos they got the personality.

Peer pressure. A girl does'nt want to date a short guy, because, sub-consciously, she feels her boyfriend's height will be a reflection on her, and will make her look bad.Short people in general are looked down on in society, like they are less worthy than tall people, as are fat people and ugly people. It has been that way for quite a while, and unfortunately, I don't see it changing anytime soon. Humans are'nt comfortable with differences for some reason.

Girls like tall guys because they look smaller and more feminine by their side. A tall guy also gives a girl a sense of security, that he can protect her if it is necessary.

It originates from the time when they were kids. As most people know, girls are more closer to their fathers and from an early age the had to look up at their fathers. Subconsciously, this still goes on even after they are grown ups.
Taller guys make women feel more secure.

girls feel protected in a way, when they're with tall guys.
also, i would find it embarassing (being quite tall myself) to be dating a really short guy.
Girls dont like to be big. It doesnt make them feel feminine.
But, never the less, guys who are short can be really hot! haha.

Tall guys look better and girls think tall men can protect them.
A short guy looks like he loses something. The appearance can tell about yourself.

It is TRUE. Women like tall men because it makes them feel "secure" and it makes them feel like they are being protected. Plus I hear that they like it for sexual reasons as well.
It's the same reason for why men like curvy women. It's instincts. I think that subconsciously they associate a tall man with being more "fertile".

thats partially true coz in India gals just go gaga over the three men Shahrukh , Salman n Amir [ actors ].....unfortunately all 3 of them r short.
