No one thinks all asians are terrorists, but I am personally glad that people are being stopped & checked out. Yes it is unfair that many innocent asians will be unjustly stopped & searched but if I was asian I would happily be searched & questioned if it meant I felt an overly-thourough job was being done & I was safer on my flight because of it. I'm sorry but we can't NOT question people because of their race & us being overly politicaly correct. The sad fact of the matter is that there have been very few caucasian terrorists and so unfortunately asias are going to be targeted more as potential suspects. It's a sad fact but it's reality.

I agree with the people on the plane, I'm sorry but i do. We as a nation must now be vigilant against these terrorists as i don't think the authorities are doing enough. i watched an interview with a woman who was on the plane and she described their behaviour as suspicious. I would have reacted the same.....

Those two guys felt sorry for the people and said they did not blame the people for acting like that. I blame these two men, as they are Muslims (at least by name) but yet they live like non-Muslims, drinking and mingling etc which Islam prohibits, so the non-Muslims still have not accepted them in their society as equal, even though they are trying their utmost best to be like non-Muslims, so this is what they deserve in return, not being accepted.
I would feel angry and sad, due to how people in general are perceiving Muslims. Just cos they were Asians, had Muslim names, were carrying briefcases, were talking in Urdu at certain points in their conversations, does that mean they are to suspect these types of people as terrorists?? Terrorism effects everyone on earth, its happening in the Muslim lands aswell as non-Muslim lands. Why is it that some Govs and Orgs say that it is an attack on civilised world???!!! Do they mean to say Muslim lands that don't implement democracy are uncivilised, backward even though terorist acts are taking place over there???!!! and the same attack that takes place over there are not important, the people that die over there are less important.
How come they attach terrorism to Islam and Muslims, just because those who may do these acts are claiming to be Muslims and doing it in the name of Islam. No religion teaches its followers to do these evil acts. During the IRA Era, they were bombarding Britain and terrorising its people, and proptetants and Catholics were fighting one another, did anyone say it is'Chritian Terrorism' so why now with regards to Islam??!! With regards to Israel and Lebanon at this moment in time, US & UK are saying Israel is defending itself from Terrorists (Hizbullah) so they permit and ok Israel to bombard a whole country that has nothing to do with it. So in the tle of IRA, did Britain bombard the whole of Ireland??? So why are they allowing this terrorism to take place in Lebanon, killing of innocent Civilians, men, women, children, destroying property and wealth. Destroying the countries infratructure. All in the name of defence and eradicating terrorism!!! How do they allow this to take place?

If youve got a cancer or a bad virus you hit it with radiotherapy or chemo, unfortunately a lot of good host cells are damaged but its the price ypu pay to get rid of the tumour.
Home grown terrorism is just like a cancer, attacking the body from within.

Time for being sentimental and worrying about peoples feelings is well passed now, we are into a higher gear face up to it!

People just can help but worrting on these days we live in. I used to think they way you think. But last week I came back from holiday and they were 4 arabs men behind me in the plane, and I couldn't help but wonder, would they?. It is human condiction, if a cocodrile eat your cousin you will always suspect of cocodriles. Even if some cocodriles might be harmless.

We're all paranoid. Its society today. It is wrong but I would rather be safe than sorry. These guys must have been acting odd to have drawn attention to themselves. We need to stop taring all Asians and Muslims with the same brush though..There is good and bad in all race and religion

Yeah, I saw that. I guess that's what paranoia induced by sensationalist journalism does for us. If stuff like this keeps happening then the terrorists and hate-mongers are winning by default.

"No one thinks all asians are terrorists, "

Where have you been for the last 10 years?

It is a sad fact that there are people out there that are that narrow minded that anyone with dark skin is a terrorist.
