Right clicking on it coping is working. But it’ll lower the quality of the image. You can do the image capturing manually or with software.
Manually
- Open the document and view the image
- Press “Print Screen” button in the keyboard (its near the “Insert” key)
- Then open “Paint” software by clicking Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint
- Click Edit -> Paste
- Use the “Select” tool and select image from the screen shot
- Then Click Edit -> Copy
- Then click File -> New
- Then click Edit -> Paste
- Click File -> Save As and select the type as “JPG”
Software
The advance software can be used to capture screen shots with added features. The best software I recommend is nothing but “SnagIT” software. You can get a trial from the link http://www.techsmith.com/download/trials.asp

Hello folks i have discovered really convinient solution, it is as follows:
1) Open MS Word document, right click the image and Copy
2) Open MS Power Point and Past the image on an empty slide
3) Right click the image in the PPT file and Save as Picture...
4) Choose the appropriate format in the Save as Type drop down box and VOILA :-)
I think it's the best and easiest way since it preserves the quality of the image and it is relatively fast.
P.S. Microsoft suggests this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555171 but the quality of the pictures is poor.

All you need to do is open the Word Document, Click SAVE AS and Save the file as a Web Page which is the .htm or .html format. A folder is instantly created with all the .JPG images inside. Beware if you delete the .htm file, the image folder deletes as well. So I ve simply created the .htm file, opened the newly created folder and selected the images and copied them to a New Folder. After that I delete the .htm file and my New Folder is still there will all the images saved as .JPG. Very simple.
