Yeah because morals and family values have fallen way down. People aren't really committed to each other and use divorce as a way out for really stupid minor reasons. Nobody takes marriage serious.

I do agree because even right now in society we all work so hard trying to make a living that we don't give the quality time to our spouses the way we should.

I believe the author will be proven incorrect. I have always understood the divorce "rate" to be around 50 to 55%. People need to look into their hearts, have a belief in something "bigger than themselves" and trust and believe in love.

I doubt it....chances are that more people will not get married in the first place, and the ones that do will stick it out rather than divorse at the rate that happens now....I tend to think divorse rates will lower slightly, especially with more immigrants here in North America....they tend not to divorse like us white guys!!

people are just finding it harder and ahrder to stick together. i thin it has to do with the crap they feed us in the media about individualism...and about "i'm a survivor" and about how "nobody needs anybody"...every industry from music to sportswear is promoting this killer individuality...so i'm not surprised people wanna be alone.
