Can someone tell me why my penis is always moist, is it cause of my foreskin?

its always moist even after i shower and dry myself and is that normal?

Yes, having a foreskin might be part of it. It's supposed to keep the head of the penis moist so it doesn't dry out and lose sensitivity. If it's bothering you, you could try retracting the foreskin to dry it out a little bit. But if it's not causing you any problems then don't worry about it, just keep yourself clean as you have been.

One of the purposes of the foreskin is to keep the glans (the "head") moist and protected. In an uncircumsized man, the glans is more like a mucous membrane, like the lining of you mouth, and when circumcised, it is more like skin elsewhere on the body.

Other than infection or some sort of disease process, the only other likely cause would be urinary leakage. If the moisture has an odor like urine, you need to have that medically checked out.

Unless there is odor, soreness or some sort of discomfort, this is perfectly normal. In fact, this softer, moister condition is believed to mean more sexually sensitivity and pleasure.
