One of my closest friends is so secretive towards me and everyone else about her true feelings. She never tells me how she feels towards someone til she's over them for about a year or more. What can I do to get her to open up more?

Let it be. People talk about their feelings when they're ready to, and who they are ready to. It's a nice thought to want your friend to open up to you, but no one likes it when people pry.

Reminds me of me. Although I'm outgoing I never really want to do stuff outside of work and messing around on the computer.
And I'm quite happy! I love my life.
You can't bend people to be more like you. Some people are just different. Sure they will do favors for you like hang out and stuff but they only do it to please you. They'd rather chill or something. People are all different.

Just let her know you will be there for her..and you'll support her. Soon she'll open up. She will have to do it on her own. She shouldn't feel like she's pushed to do it.

Be patient. The more you pry the less likely that your friend will open up.

sleep deprivation techniques
water torture techniques
inject her with sodium pentathol ( truth serum )
hell i don't know, ask the musad or CIA .LOL
