i don't want to allow any adult sites to be accessed how to i block them

Either get software that has parental control built within it, or go to Internet Explorer
Tools--> Internet Options --> Content --> Content Advisor, Enable
and take it from there :-)

Got to Tools up at the top. Then scroll to 'Internet Options'. Then Go to the 'Content' tab. Then, under where it says 'Content Advisor' , Click 'Enable' and choose to block whatever you don't want; Pornography, language, violence, etc...

go into your internet options and there is a section for web security where you can set parental limits there you should be able to restrict certain content
