I am a tad confused....?

Question

I was on the pill for maybe 1 year and have been off it now since the beginning of my last period which was about nearly 3 weeks now.

I have recently gotten slightly sore breasts, and i know this is a pms sign, but i never use to get sore breasts when i was and wasnt on the pill.

When i wasnt on the pill, my period was not usually on time, most of the time it was 1 week late. Now i am meant to get my period in about 1 week.

Could this be just pms signs? I never use to get this. Should i expect my period next week? Or because i was on the pill, will it be irregular?

oh, hubby reckons my breasts are firmer lol

Well, as you have stopped taking the pill I think you and your husband are planning to concieve. It has been proven that when stopping taking the pill women can get pregnant very rapidly, usually even in the month following their stopping the medication. The signs of your breasts becoming firmer can also be a sign that you are pregnant, but as the others already said, you'll have to wait a bit more until knowing that. If you're not getting your periods in the next week (or 2 weeks) I would suggest you taking a pregnancy test.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was a little confused why my breast were so sore and slighly firmer. The last time that happened to me, I ended up with a daughter. Well, needless to say take a pregnancy test. I would, I did. I now know I'm about a month pregnant, and didn't realize it until last Friday. By the way I was on the pill until mid last month.

Usually birth control pills help to regulate your cycle,did you take them about the same time every day,that is odd,all you have described are signs of PMS but you also could be pregnant,you will find out soon
