Yes it quite simple but... the difficult bit is routing the wires to all the rooms if they are not already installed.

Ariel? in the loft? No way! You'll need at least a thousand gallons of water, and a filter. The roof will collapse for sure! If you're keeping mermaids, you'd better store them at ground level.
Oh, Oh, Aerial! Like the big antennas... Well, that's not so horribly tough. You may have to fish some wires about through the walls, and you'll have to only step on the beams, lest you punch a hole through the cieling, and it'll be hotter than a whorehouse on nickle night up there... but other than that it's mostly just a little drilling and screwing and such.

Easy to do, not so easy to get a good reception using it. Buy a high gain model and you may also have to buy a booster. Make sure it is pointed in the same direction as all the others in your street and avoid pointing at any metal pipework in the loft.

check out your neighbours (arials ) before hand. Make sure you set the arial direction the same as thiers.
Half an hour to install, then you have your cable runs.
Personally, if you have no restrictions I'd get up on the roof in my ballet shoes and fix it to the chimney - much better for digital TV and you can bring the cable down the outside right to where you want it.
Thats assuming you're sensible and used to climbing all over your house !
