Because they are not at war with the Jews but with oil companies and their interests, which are heavily vested with German money. Don't confuse the traditional seasonal, neolithic, religious, fanatic bickerings that go on in the Middle East with Bush's use of the U.S. military as security forces for the oil industry in the Middle East. Haliburton and other U.S. contractors built the Taliban's training sites, for example. The terrorists' target in Germany was surely related to oil. And, I'd be wary of living or working too close to ANYTHING related to the oil industry.
