I'm not sure what everyone else's problem is, but if you move 60 degrees south, you will be moving toward the south pole. it doesnt matter where you are. if you are already in antarctica, you cannot move 60 degrees south, because you'll only have about 15 degrees to work with. once at the south pole, you cannot "keep going south." if you are standing on the south pole, any direction you go from there will be north.

commerce winds, circulation of air in the direction of the equator, from the NE interior the Northern Hemisphere and from the SE interior the Southern Hemisphere. The commerce winds originate on the equatorial aspects of the horse latitudes, that are 2 belts of intense air tension, one mendacity between 25° and 30° north of the equator and the different mendacity between 25° and 30° south of it. The intense air tension in those belts forces air to flow in the direction of a belt of low air tension alongside the equator reported as the doldrums. The air converging on the doldrums rises intense over the earth, recirculates poleward, and sinks lower back in the direction of the earth's floor interior the area of the horse latitudes, consequently winding up a cycle. The air does not flow promptly north or south when you consider that's deflected with the help of the rotation of the earth. See wind; Coriolis result.

depends on where you are. If you are in antartica and you move 60 degrees south, you are moving toward the north pole. Most other places if you are moving 60 degrees south, you are moving toward the south pole
