Iran imports oil not exports. And the sanctions on them are a joke. Iran has been a thorn in the US side since the Israel was attacked in 1970's. Yes we sold weapons for a low price to Iraq to keep Iran in check. Look where it got us. Iran is also fighting with the Iraqis right now on the borders. But no one seems to care the the Iranians are killing them. I guess that is ok. UN is the reason!!! France though France is not lily white when it comes to going in a country and helping to kill millions of people. Just ask the people that lived and survived the massacres in Rwanda. Russia will everyone knows that the sold Iran weapons!!! when they were the Soviet Union. all the other Muslims countries in the UN that are supporting Iran blowing smoke up are *** till they have nuclear weapons. Then we are going to have a war with nuclear weapons and it is not only the US and Israel they are going for. Look in the their Constitution if you do not believe me. They want and think that it is their right to have it all. US will only have to say I told you so!!!

I totally agree. We don't even need to invade like we did in Iraq, most of the people there hate the Islamic regime there. Iraq was one of the more westernized countries before these radicals took over.

We have to go through this diplomatic process. The American people right now are not supporting wars, or military action. Bush doesn't want to get involved in another war, or military action until the time is right. Wait another month, things might change.

We are in a similar era to before World War II where there was "appeasment", and nobody saw Hitler as a threat. But this time we are talking about nuclear proliferation.
It's not so much that Iran is going to get nukes pretty soon, but the problem is that if they get nukes they will use them, so we can't afford to have nuts like that having nukes, or even developing them. We need to knock that regime back to the stone ages. We continue to "appease" these terrorists, and nut cases, which could be disastrous.

Because common sense is an asset rarely used these days. I figure Bush and his cronies were too chicken to attack a country they knew had nukes, so they went for one they knew DIDN'T have nukes, under the false pretense they did, in the hope that Iranians would see what hapenned and quake in their mountain boots and surrender their nukes to the will of good ol W.
Wake up you old bags, not gonna happen. You bombed the guys who didn't have the weapons, now you gotta bomb the ones that do, ha ha. I've got my popcorn ready.

Does The USA Intend To Dominate The Whole World By Force?

In 1976 the Ford administration "endorsed Iranian plans to build a massive nuclear energy industry, but also worked hard to complete a multibillion-dollar deal that would have given Tehran control of large quantities of plutonium and enriched uranium - the two pathways to a nuclear bomb", Linzer wrote. The top planners of the Bush administration, who are now denouncing these programmes, were then in key national security posts: Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Paul Wolfowitz.

Iranians are surely not as willing as the west to discard history to the rubbish heap. They know that the United States, along with its allies, has been tormenting Iranians for more than 50 years, ever since a US-UK military coup overthrew the parliamentary government and installed the Shah, who ruled with an iron hand until a popular uprising expelled him in 1979.

The Reagan administration then supported Saddam Hussein's invasion of Iran, providing him with military and other aid that helped him slaughter hundreds of thousands of Iranians (along with Iraqi Kurds). Then came President Clinton's harsh sanctions, followed by Bush's threats to attack Iran - themselves a serious breach of the UN charter.

The Bush administration conditionally agreed to join its European allies in direct talks with Iran, but refused to withdraw the threat of attack, rendering virtually meaningless any negotiations offer that comes, in effect, at gunpoint. Recent history provides further reason for scepticism about Washington's intentions.

Why, you want us to bomb them with nuke aswell. Is there any different. There was a long long time ago in Iran when a child asked a minister why dont we bomb US, they have nuke and keep bombing other. The miniser reply " Dont say somthing like that, we need bombs that just enough to defend our self, not to destroy other". Kid said "At least let called those people nuts".
" No need my child, they have already said that to them self".

Maybe It is feel nice just to called people stupid or nuts, but how about people said about you. How stupid you are and how small nut in your head.

To voice out opinion it is your right, but to disgrace other is not yet granted by God to any group or religion or country.

Iran is a very powerful nation, and attacking Iran is like a suicide attempt. If the US attacks Iran, it will be much much worse than Vietnam. Haven't you seen what Hezbollah did to Israel? Well, Hezbollah's capabilities is like a tiny drop in the ocean compared to Iran's capabilities. Also, if attacked Iran will stop the oil exports from the Persian Gulf. And it will fire countless rockets on Israel. In one word, It will be a total disaster. The american administration knows that very well, so they cannot do it.

Consider the one country the current administration is seriously reluctant to deal with...........North Korea.

Why? It HAS Nukes.

Gee, Why would Iran seek this???????? Duh.

Sorry, but so far I view Iran's Nuke ambitions as rather prudent considering what stands at their border.

Is the guy in charge a bit nuts? Probably....Can we not say the same?

Why would we? The way the President of Iran is talking, saying he wants to "wipe Israel off the map" and going on about "the myth of the Holocaust." I wouldn't be surprised if the Israeli air force didn't one day quietly bomb them themselves and use commando assaults to neutralize their nuclear facilities.

Because we would lose the ensuing war...

Our military forces are already spread thin, hence why we have not gone into North Korea I guess...(now that guy is crazy)...

And if America goes into another Muslim country, I think the whole Gulf region will rise up against us... and more importantly, Saudi Arabia will cut off our oil supply... which would not do at all... American's love their gas-guzzling Trucks and SUV's...
