Sorry for my mistake there. I should've said UK. The news is that a gang stabbed a man, the family complained to the police, the police seemingly did little, the man got killed by same gang. Police appologise. Possibly a knee jerk reaction, by me, but there seem to be soooo many really bad and high profile mistakes by the boys in blue. On the whole, I would say they have an almost impossible job. But what cost human error?

No Way are the British Police a Disgrace to our county , far, far from it , the Disgrace eminates from the low life scum infesting our society , from the filthy drugged up , robbing, thieving, mugging ,drunken yobs to the more organised Evil Bastards , including companies ,who are dedicated to Crime . the Police are abused at all levels , as are Ambulance , Fire Crews and Hospital Staff , where thier rewards are to be Sneered at and Ridiculed by Stupid Mindless Prats such as you.

What about all the times the Police protect and serve - that doesn't end up on the news. Mistakes happen! On the whole they do a great job, a few more wouldn't go a miss. It went wrong when they started carrying guns.
Not an easy job, I would imagine.

There are good police and disgraceful too. Last week i visited one of the ISO certified police station in the country India, where there was a Reception and the Police had a courteous and polite approach. On the other, i visited one another where there was much corruption.

LOL! Usually people that make comments like this tend to attract the attention of our fine men and women in blue. I wonder why! Gosh.
Sounds like just one more crybaby that needs to hold himself accountable for his actions and behavior.
Sorry goink, no one wants to attend your little pity party or jump on your bandwagon.
Shape up and fly straight. You'll notice police giving you less trouble in the future.

No, no my dear the police makes his best efforts to protect the people , some of them die in their trials to stop murder and criminals. If there are some individual mistakes , it does not mean the whole organization.

Police for the most part are hero's and should be respected.
The media tears down the cops and they shouldn't they are performing a public service that most of us are unwilling to do.

you can not lump all police into one thing like disgraceful. They see and are with the worst people and things. They are lied to, shot at, threaten, and treated like dirt most of the time they are working. I am not saying all police are great.. I am just saying that all police are not disgraceful
