Tonight they got 3 runs in the first, 2 in the second, then hung on for a 5-4 win over the Angels. Lester was reasonably effective through 5, giving up 3 runs, but needing 100 pitches to get through 5. Tavares was frightening in the 6th, getting the bases loaded and letting in a run before getting out of it. Foulke pitched the 7th, Timlin two outs in the 8th and Papelbon finished off Cabrera for the third out in the 8th and the 9th. The Red Sox fans in the crowd were up and cheering for the last out (a fly to Coco). The way they turn it around is to win again tomorrow and to win 4 more games than the White Sox and Twins. I will be there again tomorrow. Hope they can take two from the Angels.
