Because the baby was early they hadn't decided through her pregnancy. Then Ashly wanted Clair to get used to the baby and now because she has PND she doesn't care what it's called! It's nearly going to end in tears when she tries to stick the unnamed baby in the canal!!! Bad things always happen at that canal, it she have a barrier around it with a plaque saying "if you come from the cobbles and want a bit of a disaster then walk this way"
Back to the name issue, i think it's all rather bad planning!

Cos Clair has post natal depression but Ashley cant see it , even though it is soooo obvious
