How do you help a pulled Latissimus Dorsi?
I think I pulled my Latissimus Dorsi during Band Camp, and was needing to know how to stop the unbearable pain.

If you did something to pull a muscle, the pain likely developed from underlying inflammation. You can try taking anti-inflammatory medicines like ibuprofen (advil, motrin) if you don't have stomach problems. Alternatively you can try icing it or using a mentholated cream. If it persists for more than a few days or gets worse, consult a physician.

Ice packs for 20 minutes, with an hour between treatment, as often as possible. Ibuprofen 600 mg. every 8 hours with food, will help dull the pain. Rest it. Good luck!
