as far as i know, tickets are not initially IN the game, they need to be PUT there, by way of a wonder spot. that is, you need to have a nintendo official put it there. or visit a pokemon store, such as in rockafeller (sp?), NY.
as for leveling up easier... get in as many trainer fights as possible. trainers give more exp. trainers will fight you more than once, if they have your pokenav number.
and remember, the higher the level you are beating, the more exp you get.
if you find you keep getting creamed, put the one you wanna level in the first spot, and then switch it out for something stronger after the fight starts

to level up easier, only use one pokemon to battle from your hometown to the league
