What's up with Elvis Stojko?

It's a trivial question, but anyone know why Elvis Stojko got a buzz cut? He had a nice (short) haircut this past season.

He's getting old so it likely was to hide the fact that certain parts of his head wasn't growing hair as fast anymore. Or maybe he had chemo.....who knows but him?

I don't know, but short hair and skating go well together, and also, a very short cut makes balding spots kind of disappear. That would be my guess.
